A ride through the Oregon Sand Dunes
A ride through the Oregon Sand Dunes

The Beach
Once you get to the beach, you may not want to leave. You can spend hours building sand castles, taking endless walks, wading or body surfing in the waves, or just sitting and listening to the ocean.

However, for those of you who want more diverse experiences, there are many options within an hours drive of Bella Beach.
Information & Activity Recommendations
from Ben & Alice
I can recommend great stuff to do across the region if you are driving across
the state from any given direction.
Off the top of our heads we thought of a few things we love to do near
the reunion location that you can check out if you like (I'll put links at the bottom):
Cascade Head is our favorite hike on the coast just north of Lincoln City.
Oswald West State Park has some great hikes and is a popular surf spot.
There is a ton of great wine tasting on the way from Portland to Lincoln City
in Yamhill County (mostly around Newberg and Dundee).
In Depoe Bay there are resident and migrating whales that are seen daily.
There's the Oregon Coast Aquarium in Newport.
Great bird watching at Siletz Bay National Wildlife Refuge
Our favorite restaurant on the coast is The Blackfish Cafe in Lincoln City.
Driving the entire coastline is spectacular and it is all public land technically.
There's incredible scenery throughout and I wouldn't miss
Redwood National Park if you haven't been there. Just on the southern
border with California.
Please contact me if you want to coordinate, have any questions,
or want other suggestions. Looking forward to seeing you all soon!
